WCWS membership fees are $40 annually.
Currently our membership year runs from July 1st through June 30th. Starting in 2027 our membership year will be from January 1st to December 31st.
For the remainder of 2026, new members can join for $20.
Existing members can renew through the end of 2026 for $20

through the end of 2027 for $60.
*New or existing members who pay $20 for the remainder of 2026 will be sent a renewal notice in December.
Our online membership directory includes the name, state, and Signature status of all WCWS members, but we do not share your address, phone or email. We can also include a link to your artist website.

Your membership includes:
- Reduced entry fees for the Rockies West National Show. This show is perhaps the most prestigious show in western Colorado and Patronage of the show is very good. It is normally held annually in March at the Art center in Grand Junction (www.gjartcenter.org)
- Reduced cost for the Juror’s Workshop associated with the Rockies West Show. Previous nationally-known jurors include Iain Stewart, Feeling Lin, Frank Francese, Betty Carr, Judi Coffey, Stephen Quiller, Judi Betts, John Salminen, Jean Grasdorf, Carla O’Connor, ratindra Das, David R. Smith, Ken Call and Tom Francesconi.
- Signature Membership after 3 acceptances in the Rockies West National Show within a 10-year period.
- Master Signature Membership after 10 acceptances in RWNS (with continuous membership.)
- Participation in a Member’s Show normally held annually. This is a chance for all members to showcase their art in a non-juried show.
- Listing of your membership on our website at no charge.
- Four WCWS newsletters per year delivered directly to your inbox.
- Emails informing you of artist opportunities including classes, calls for entry to shows or art in public places, competitions, art festivals, plain air events, or area shows to visit.
Membership dues help support the activities of the organization. Western Colorado Watercolor Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
