RESUME

   Sherry Polcyn is a watercolor artist focusing on the wet-on-wet technique. She has attended workshops, taken college level watercolor art classes and spent time at the Art Students League of Denver. In the past she has worked with Andra Hendrie in Buena Vista, Colo., Becky Silver in Westminster, Colo. and Dani Tupper in Delta, Colo. Sherry has art on exhibit at Courtyard Gallery in Buena Vista and at Studio 333 in Delta.

 Recent awards include winning the Delta County Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Mountain Vineyard Wine
Foundation’s Mountain Vineyard Wine Festival poster contest in 2010. She was also awarded first place at the Western Colorado Watercolor Society’s 2010 plein air exhibit at the Creamery in Hotchkiss, Colo.   She is a member of Delta Fine Arts and takes part in DFA’s Art in Public Places program. She is also a member of Hotchkiss Fine Arts and Western Colorado Watercolor Society. She mentors a junior art partner in the Delta Art Partners-West organization
